Soul Searching
(1962 Chevrolet Corvette, 1963 Porsche 911)
I drive for an hour to and from school, four days a week. I'll be glad when I graduate in a few weeks in part because I won't be surrounded by all the dull cars that are clogging the highways these days. They all look the same: computer-designed, focus-grouped, committee-approved, wind-tunnel-tested... in short, they have no soul. What new car has even a smidgen of the style and grace exhibited by the beauties featured above? |
