Cockeyed Spaniard
Went to an alumni thing at Mrs. Bristol's place. Talked with Omar Pound ('51) about his travels in Afghanistan (as a young man). Got a bit sloshed which is how I end up at most social events where I feel a little out of place. James Thurber wrote a wonderful story about a "cockeyed Spaniard." The Bristol's cockeyed Spaniards were old and a bit camera shy, unfortunately. |
