The Houston Rockets came to town today so we went to the United Center to check out Yao Ming. It's not every day that you get to see a 7'5", 300-pound Shanghainese. It was a pretty sloppy game and Yao Ming didn't seem that inspired, but the masses of Chinese fans had fun enthusiastically cheering him on while happily rooting against the home team. I spent most of my time concentrating on the Luvabulls, particulary Mary Q.
