Colorful shot of PAAS. Folks who got long off the 30-minute risked about 1.5%, reward to risk was better than 3 to 1 at day's end.
See you tomorrow!

Final shot of "FOXTROT." It made another nice attempt to get to Target #1 on the last bar. Folks either took the money and ran
or are carrying it with a breakeven stop.
I'm going to charge $5 a day for these ideas in the new year. It's interesting to see how people behave -- $5 is considered 'too
much' for a thought that could be worth hundreds or even thousands of dollars. The Net has conditioned people to expect something for
nothing.

Look at the lovely bull flag that formed in the afternoon in PAAS. Linda Raschke is the contemporary who taught us to "train our eyes" to see
bull and bear flags... Schabacker & Co. also knew a thing or two about these patterns back in the day.

Similar to "ALPHA" the other day, "FOXTROT" has done very well but missed TARGET #1 by just 2 cents. You can either continue
to carry it with a breakeven stop, or sell it end of day and take the money and run.

Is NGEN worth $0.25 of risk here, just dunno. Not much happening in day trade land (besides PAAS)... trading is thin, people are away through
the new year. Maintain stop in "FOXTROT." See you at the close.

Another album recommendation from the Chairman: Lee Morgan's Cornbread.
'Ceora' always takes my breath away and I've heard it about 1,000 times.

PAAS is unusually active... it gave a nice, low-risk entry off the 15-minute chart which any graduate of the Trading for
Dummies school would have caught, assuming they were watching it.

"FOXTROT" triggered long off the opening bar. Remember to place your protective stop loss order below $35.63.

Interesting that food is the
third largest household expense, if you include 'eating out.' I guess that jibes with our experience.
"U.S. households on average spent more than $9,000 for food at home and in restaurants in 2002, the third-biggest expenditure after
housing and medical care...."

An interesting short article on the Wellington Fund, which turned 75 years old this month.
"From its inception on July 1, 1929, through November 30, 2003, Wellington Fund has earned an average annual total return of 8.3% ...
Income from the stocks and bonds it held has always been an important factor for Wellington Fund. This month, the fund will pay
its quarterly income dividend, the 296th consecutive quarter the fund has paid a dividend since its first one in March 1930.
Of its 8.3% total return since inception, 4.7% was due to reinvested income dividends."

Had a very smooth trip back to London. Crazy to think I left the sunny southern US for a cold, gray and rainy England. I can also
look forward to it getting pitch dark here around 3 PM. ;-)
Travel tips: the Georgia State Police use laser to detect speeders so your usually wonderful Valentine One is next to useless there. Always
have earplugs when you travel. The Gatwick Express train is the best and cheapest way to get to London if you fly into Gatwick.
