Breaking Another Bloglines Barrier Despite Lack of "Usability"A funny thing happened while I was away: my number of Bloglines subscribers vaulted through the 200 mark. It seems the best way to get new readers is by not writing anything for weeks on end. Aspiring gorillas of the stock market blogosphere should take note. ;-)
Jakob Nielsen wrote a useful article recently: Weblog Usability: The Top Ten Design Mistakes. I make most of his top ten mistakes, but at least you can count on a couple of new posts every day, as well as updated Stocks to Watch lists. Posted on October 26, 2005 at 12:30, GMT
Arch Coal Continues its MarchArch Coal is the second largest coal producer in the US. Who buys coal? Electric power plants. Coal is so hot because coal-burning power plants don't have large stockpiles at the moment, and competing fuels like natural gas have become wildly expensive. It's interesting that ACI remains so strong as its industry peers (most notably Fording Canadian Coal (FDG)) have been stumbling of late.
