Canadian Dollar at Parity with US Dollar

Here’s a quarterly chart of the Canadian Dollar (CAD) going back to 1971. You can see that after continuously strengthening these last five years, the CAD has finally reached parity with the USD — a level last seen in the mid-1970s. Who you callin’ loonie?
