Daisy, Daisy, Give Me Your Answer True
Noticed iRobot on the new lows list. Looks like it has been all downhill for IRBT since they came public in November 2005. Might be interesting to look through some of their SEC filings, figure out how quickly they’re burning cash, etc.

do you have any opinion on the chinese solar stocks like stp, solf and tsl. tsl and solf have been going nuts. thanks

bill: I know next to nothing about them — just read one article in the WSJ? on the Suntech Power guy long ago … seems like all of alt. energy has been going crazy, then you combine it with the magic word “China” and you go from merely crazy to absolutely nuts. Anyway, it’s an area that makes sense and they’re all probably worth looking at closely, but what price to pay for these things? I have no idea.

Yahoo could do plenty worse than to add this blog to their bullpen. Although for strictly selfish reasons I hope not, as reader comment quality always tumbles with such wide distribution.
Any plans to comment on the chinese stock meltdown? Maybe “meltdown” is pre-mature, as the 9% drop only took out gains from the last week & a half. heh.

Brad: This blog’s content is too eclectic to be included in that kind of deal, but there are some other bloggers out there whose content is much more “on point” (Michelle Leder’s footnoted.org springs to mind) and Yahoo should pick her up.
All I know about the “meltdown” is that my manicurist is pissed. ;-)
