ETF Performance Table — Week Ending March 10, 2006

What are you using to define the weekly trend? SMA? Current week’s close > last week’s close?

Are you more likely to put money into the best or worst performers? Don’t you like to “buy em where they ain’t” with these investment type things?

Chud: For long-term investments I tend to look for value, which I usually find among the out-of-favor groups. From the perspective of a short-term trader, it’s always good to know where the momentum is (and isn’t). The most important thing is never to confuse short-term trading with long-term investing.

I just came upon your blog and have been enjoying reading it. Thanks for sharing your work. A quick question: Is there some reason your start dates on the weekly ETF analysis are different instead of the same?
