Going Wide
I decided to widen the body of the blog and stop accommodating the readers whose screen resolutions are below 1000 px wide. As you can see from my Google Analytics stats, these top ten resolutions represent around 95% of the total, and only 4.46% of my readers are looking at 800×600 screens — to them I bid good-bye.

Looks the same to me at the moment, all the way down to the v&agra add ;)
I have a 22′ monitor and it takes about 50% of the horizontal real estate, can’t remember it being much diff before but could be mistaken.

Andrew: The ads from Feedburner seem to appear very sporadically, some sort of erectile dysfunction. ;-)

Super. I bet you could fit at least 2-3 gratuitous cute chicks in that width. ;-)

Anthony: Does the site look terrible in the cellphone? I’ve never seen it before.

Now your blog is framed by 2 grey bars. I use Firefox 2 and my screen resolution is 1280×1024. Do you have an idea how I can get rid of these bars, so that it covers th full screen?
August 30th, 2007 at 3:19 pm
Markus: You mean the left and right edges of the screen are gray, yes? That’s the way it should look at 1280 wide … those gray bars used to look much bigger (don’t you remember?) and there’s no way to get rid of them without losing all the readers who are below 1280 (which is a lot of people).

Chairman, thanks for your reply. I forgot I had these edges before.

CM: I’ve noticed that your side bar has gotten a slight shade of gray, its no longer white. Is that intentional or a blivid on your part?
August 30th, 2007 at 9:52 pm
Tom: Blivid? I made the sidebar a bit gray, yes.

blivid is slang for mistake or the ability of cramming 10lbs of poop into a 5lb bag.
