that expression on her face, dazed, knowing what we don’t, and at the same time letting us know that we will find out soon. That’s how I read it.

“That is a smile” ? Chairman, you need learn a new idiom - “母老虎”. ask her and be prepared to run fast!

Reminds me of the girl from The Ring…
    No offense though. :)

fool: You’re right, but I’ve never seen her crawl out of a TV set (that bit freaked me out — Japanese version, never seen the American “Ring”).

I’ve seen both versions and thought the Japanese (original) version was scarier. The American version wasn’t half-bad though, if you don’t mind adult actors trying to act/dress like teenagers.

When I first saw this girl, the word “waif” free-associated into my mind.

  14. C. Maoxian said:

steve: Yes, waif and “goth” both spring to mind. I *hate* movies where adults play kids, though isn’t Ashley Judd in the American Ring (I love her)? There were a couple scenes in the Japanese ring that disturbed me, and as I said, when she crawled out of the TV I literally climbed up the back of my sofa trying to get away, lol.
