Textbook means 教科书 in English/Chinese. But I am not sure if textbook means something special in Stock terms :).

    Hi Maoxian,

I wanted to know what trading *software* you use and what is your time frame? (I think I already know the time frame part but just want to be sure). But, the software I have no clue (fees etc…).

The “Relative” performance charts you use are pretty neat. I’ve never used them the way you have, as a blended overlay type of thing instead of a side by side comparison…at least that’s how I think of it.

And one more thing, what blogging software do you use?

    All the best!

aigaogao: In this case, “textbook” means 典型 … I noticed the steels moving too but have no idea why. Maybe someone who reads the news can tell us.

cutlosses: I use Metastock and Qcharts for charting and I like the 15- and 30-minute time frames for day trading.

Almost no one posts relative performance charts which is a mystery to me since they’re so valuable.

You must be related in some way to that guy that goes by the moniker of ‘the chartist formerly known as Ugly’. He’s an admitted cheap bastard.

Not that you’re a bastard, or anything like that … :)
