I Can’t Remember the Last Time I Read a Newspaper
Actually I can, and it was on an airplane that didn’t have internet access. The Notable New Lows list is full of newpaper stocks: Journal Register, Lee Enterprises, McClatchy, Media General, New York Times, Tribune, etc. When I hear people babbling about the free cash flows of these businesses, I just shake my head because they’re not thinking big enough: No one my age reads news offline, and I’m an old fart.

There’s a good book I’m reading called “Fooled by Randomness” that touches on the media in general and stock trading. It’s a good read. I’ll probably post a review on the StockTickr blog.
But you’re right, newspapers are becoming more and more irrelevant.
