I could have told you that Shih Tzu, Pekingese, and Chow Chow are among the dumbest dogs — “number of repetitions required to understand a new command.” Number of kicks required?
WNCW out of Spindale, NC is the best radio station in the United States; I used to be an avid listener when I lived briefly in TN. (Find their 128Kbps Stereo Stream here) The Top 100 Album Lists are great.
Love them!
Neat data visualization of US Zip Codes — “density distribution” … check out Adirondack Park.
Not as interesting as PostSecret, but a site any voyeur can appreciate.
Excellent set of images from Google Earth of the area where the Kims got lost, including the tragic route James Kim took in an attempt to get help.
Amusing … “turning the tables.”
Like Digg, reddit is something new I use every day.
That’s nuts. I made the most money trading while using a single cracked 14-inch laptop screen. ;-)
A lot of great ideas here, and just in time for your holiday shopping (I know you haven’t started yet).

I like that Grouphug website. Pretty funny how dirty people are.

I own *two* Border Collies. Does that make me more intelligent too?
When I first saw a list of most intelligent dog breeds, the high rating for poodles was downright scary. But apparently they’re a really sharp dog.

Cool links. Re: the zip codes, is there something specific about Adrirondack Park to look at? I live near Albany,NY which is between the Adirondack and Catskill Mountain ranges. I’m an avid outdoorsman so it’s my own paradise. :)

stevegee: Ace Greenberg is a big fan of border collies too, and he’s pretty intelligent. ;-) I was also surprised by the poodle ranking.
uptik: I’m from upstate NY too (Otsego county) … I just noticed that the Zip code scribbles get pretty few and far between up there.
