Maoxian’s Top Ten Links — February 9, 2007
I will be in Hong Kong all next week (on business) and in Shanghai the week after next (celebrating Chinese New Year), so blog posts will be light to nonexistent for awhile. Thanks for your patience.
Mainly photos this week:
- IQ Chart with probabilities of various events (image)
- Dream Bigger (photo)
- Shanghai Panorama (photo)
- Christopher Langan, Genius Bouncer (video)
- Holy Bible Warning Sticker (image)
- Perth Beach Panorama (photo)
- Field Guide to Iraq (cartoon)
- Steve Ballmer’s Tiny Office (photo)
- Air Traffic Departing from South Florida after the Super Bowl (image)
- Wounded US Marine returns home from Iraq to marry (photo)
My IQ is over 130 but I’ve been unemployed my entire adult life.
Much, much bigger, you suckers.
A view of Puxi from Pudong … occupancy rates, anyone?
Can’t stand the Errol Morris music/video montage crap, but Langan is an interesting guy.
“Decreased cognitive and objective reasoning abilities…”
A comet, lightning, fireworks… the usual beach scene.
Whom do you shoot? That’s easy: those neocon bastards over at the Project for a New American Century for starters.
Billionaire desk jockey … my office at the place where I volunteer is bigger than this.
Your shareholder dollars at work!
Did Wolfowitz send his wishes?

Nice IQ chart. I’m not so sure all executives are in the top 5%. I’ve met a few that aren’t. ;-)

Anyone care to link to/post an image of a Koran with that same warning sticker? Didn’t think so…

Perusing your site it appears that most of your trades are signaled off of Hammer, Hanging Man, Harami and Doji formations. Am I correct.
This chick with the cigar is so hot I’m surprised that cigar remains unlit.

They don’t call it satanic verses for no reason. It is a religion devoid of rationality and simple good…and China will have their fill of them eventually as well.

Martin: Yes, but their golf handicaps are in the top 5% … it’s one or the other (rarely both).
Snow: Sure you could put the same sticker on the Koran or on the Bhagavad Gita for that matter. ;-)
Joseph: I always try to get long above inside or down bars regardless of what kind of candlestick they form, but yes, they usually do form one of the things you mention.

It truly is nice to be married to your money honey, eh CM?

yoda: You’re forgetting the old inheritance and a little help from my friends (in high places). Not contributing one’s fair share to the family unit leaves one, whatever his IQ, feeling mighty rotten.

I just got linked here and while I’ve only read two or three posts, I wonder what you did with your CPA certification.

Vespre: It’s in a drawer somewhere, along with my MBA. ;-)
