New Newsletter Sample Signals — Australian Dollar

There’s an ETF for almost everything these days, including quite a few currencies, many of which I plan to follow. Here are the “signals” for the Australian Dollar (FXA). The FXA has only been around since the middle of 2006, but you can see that my trend-following method caught a big chunk of rise and got out before things really went bad. (Fancy pants would reverse and go short on the exit in August.)

Subscribers to my new newsletter will enjoy these kind of signals for at least 100 different ETFs.

what do you think about Iceland raising the rates to 18%? there is no ETF/ETN for their currency as far as I can tell but the move reminds me of the rates in the USA in the early 80’s. buying bonds and holding to maturity turned out to be a great move, or so i would assume.

What are the trade parameters? How do I get them? How do I subscribe?

@Born2: Can’t really compare US Treasuries to Iceland’s Treasuries since the economy of the latter is based almost exclusively on salted fish products (apologies to Gunnlauger). :-)

@pete: Nah, it’s a mere 30% drop, you need 90% or so to qualify for holy crap status.

@Keith: Send me an email and I’ll put you on the list.

@help: Not sure what you mean by trade parameters, but send me an email to join the list.

    Looking forward to your newsletter.
    Like your acerbic wit.
Your commentary has helped broaden my perspective - and make me a more successful trader (even in these difficult markets).

    I also read Rosenbloom’s afraidtotrade.com.

    Thanks.

    hi Maoxian,
have you already started your new newsletter? I sent you an email about a week ago, but haven’t received any response yet. By the way, great blog you have here. I learned a lot from reading your examples of dummy trades, BOX system, etc… Keep up with the good work.

@Alex: Not yet, but I should put out a very crude version this weekend if I find the time.
