I have not stopped by here in a while, and did not know you started promoting some pay for picks service. What a disappointment…if you were a successful trader, I don’t think you would have to try to collect $20/pop.

Good luck…it seems this blog was all pointing towards someone trying to sell something.

the price axis gives it away CM!

    :)

Needless to add, keep up the good work!

Terry, CM has the right, and even the obligation towards his family’s future, to make as much money as he can as often as he can. if you have an issue you do not need to subscribe, i am not. You do not see the irony of visiting a blog trading and complaining that people are trying to make money?

@CM: “Google it”? the joke is too cute. need something better next time :)

    This is Google.

@Terry: I tried to charge $2000 a pop but oddly had no takers. Yes, for the last eight years I have been diabolically planning to rip off my dozen readers $20 at a time, lol.

@sunil: Is CME still trading up here? :-)

@Born2: Thanks for defending my rights and obligations.

@Dave: Did you Google it? ;-)

Maoxian, I respect that reply. More power to you - I just get bummed out seeing people trying to charge when I thought they were trading for a living. But, no hard feelings and good luck.

Born2, I don’t see the irony. I group people into two categories…those that make a living trading, and those that try to sell to traders. Sadly the latter outpace the former by probably 100 to 1.

Terry: I traded for a living for many years and could pick it back up at any time, I just have other things going on now.

I got bummed out blogging for nothing and knew that there would never be a way to make a buck off of it (which I richly deserve) unless I started some kind of service.

Anyone whose blog has a small readership (say under 50,000 uniques a month) can only make an insulting amount from advertising, even if he has a bunch of rich readers.

Terry: I can see why you are upset. Maybe the cure for that would be to become one of the subscriber yourself. ;-)

CM: I tried to GOOGLE it, but so far have not find out the name of the stock at GOOGLE. ;-)

when you get a chance, perhaps a “what am I doing these days”? Small bio perhaps…

    Thanks much!

sunil: I’ve struggled with how to handle the “About” page for years … I prefer to be anonymous but will probably write something up when I launch my redesigned site (look for it in 2009). :-)
