Thanks alot for these lists. A valuable public service. Not to be an ungrateful sponger, but they would be more useful in cut-and-pasteable form. Or maybe in a link like this. It wouldn’t be any more difficult than a screenshot.

jb: Yes, I know they’d be more useful if you could copy and paste them, but I don’t know how to do it. If you could send me instructions on how to take a table from Excel and put it on a webpage, I’d appreciate it.

If you want it in HTML then you can highlight the table section you want to publish, Save as HTML and then copy the to stuff and post that. You may need to do some edits (such as cells padding/style etc.) to the html code (either in a WYSIWYG or manually).

Eyal: Thanks for the link. I use Excel 97 which doesn’t allow one to save as HTML. Once I take my desktop out of its box, I’ll give your suggestion a shot. Note: we moved to Beijing in May 2005, so don’t hold your breath. ;-)

LOL. I know what you mean, I’ve only just unpacked a lot of my stuff after this last house move. Exactly 1 year after I reached NZ. And I still have boxes in storage.
