Old Style Upload Plug-in for WordPress
I want to thank Babak for directing me to the Filosofo Old-Style Upload Plugin for WordPress. It’s all about control.
WordPress 2.0 introduced a new in-line uploader that’s very convenient for ordinary users, but it eliminated the control over the upload directory and thumbnail creation that many of us were used to. This plugin restores the old upload features without affecting the new uploading capabilities.
“Ordinary users” is a geek euphemism for “idiots.” ;-)
