Race Is Not a Factor on Fear Factor?

A bit random and I don’t want this to sound like a racist question, but has a black person (or couple) ever won Fear Factor? I haven’t watched the show that long — maybe a dozen episodes total — but I’ve never once seen a black person (or couple) win. What’s up with that? Are there statistics on this? Am I just paranoid?

Don’t you think it would have been wiser on your part to research first before you came out with this crap? People ignore such blogs for a reason!

Yes a person of colour has won before. Also an Asian.

dnf: Thanks, but what are the numbers? What are the percentages?

I’m going to take a cynical leap and say that the demographic percentages of victory on that show (or any show) are proportional to the demographic composition of the viewership.

I’m dumbfounded you would even consider watching that show (especially since you say you never watch tv). Who cares what segment of the population is even on the show, let alone who “wins.” You are really backsliding.

Unrelated to Fear Factor, Freakonomics (the book) did analysis race of contestants on The Weakest Link… It’s good reading if you haven’t consumed it yet…

@Steve: I’d like to believe that but I don’t have the numbers to prove it.

@dayo: I watch it in the gym when I’m on the bike and enjoy it nearly as much as my favorite show, Ultimate Fighting Champion.

@Jason: I read Freakonomics and don’t remember anything about The Weakest Link … can you refresh my memory about the conclusions?

You are full of BS…..You are a disgrace to whatever race you belong and I bet you are as tall as your 4ft5 cousin……

Your blog is one of the worst on the Internet

One of the most irrelevant and useless blogs. I am going out there to make sure anyone who has your link on his site takes it off,,,,

No I don’t know the numbers.

Hey Ras, if it is so crap, why do you keep reading and posting?

Reminds me of that old joke…

‘yeah, and the portions are so small’
