Rare Elevator Music by Roy Hargrove
I enjoy listening to Roy Hargrove (and jazz trumpeters in general since I used to play trumpet back in high school). This tune, The Stroke, sounds a bit Muzaky to me, but I still like it. Sometimes I close my eyes and can hear a little Clifford Brown in there, but maybe I’m imagining things. Let me know what you think.

2 comments: a) love the elevator music B) you have changed my trading style, and for that I am forever in your debt, your teachings have focused my scatter shot brain into something more promising… 3) your website in total is very amusing, I have spent several days now learning more about Zimbabwe than one really has to know… Is there some sort of Zimbabwe carry trade? the interest rates seem somewhat high…. LOL
Thanks

Nice track, and that RH Factor “album” is a good one.
What a trip, I played the trumpet from 7th through 11th grades. Great minds…

Andrew: If you’re jonesing for cow bell listen to his Habana album … vastly better than RH Factor, but then I’m a stuffy old guy with a soft spot for Cuba.
