I’ve been day trading for three months and after doing everything wrong, i’ve decided to stop trying to reinvent the wheel and to go into trend following since I feel that will give me the best results at this stage in my career. I was wondering what unusual volume scanner do you use, and as far as exits, what do you think works better in the long term? I’m thinking using a stop below the low of each strong bar that goes in my favor (15 min timeframe) vs holding on until the end of the day and sticking with my original stop. I’ll also be setting up a blog and linking it back to your site. Thanks for the advice in advance. Your blog has been of much help already.

Rafael: pretty much every real-time charting/trading platform has an unusual volume scanner. Some good ones that I’ve used are Realtick’s HotTrend and Qchart’s hotlist.

piggy: I’m glad you like the blog. I never give evaluations of individual stocks to anyone, sorry.
