@KC: I meet them the old-fashioned way: I walk up and introduce myself (it helps if you have a business card).

KC don’t you know about the 1 child policy in China? The male species is not only “not” endangered but, is becoming predominant because the Chinese parents want a male child. The little girls are sent to the orphanages to be later adopted by US parents. I am intimately familiar with some here in the US.
