147 minute running time, but it’s really six separate episodes … it’s goofy and sometimes funny (esp. the silly nature show voiceover guy) but you have to be in the mood for it … John Lurie, I have no idea who he is (born in 1952) but he was somehow buddies with Jim Jarmusch (born 1953), Tom Waits (born 1949), Matt Dillon (born 1964), Willem Dafoe (born 1955), and Dennis Hopper (born 1936). He’s contemporaries with Jarmusch, Waits, and Dafoe (all Boomers) … Dillon is a bit younger (solidly Gen-X (1960-1975) … Dennis Hopper is a generation younger (Depression era), but of course was always young at heart.
