Documentary, 86 minute running time. Tells the story of a guy named Darius who has Asperger’s Syndrome, and who is obsessed with the New York Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA) and has spent half his life in prison since he takes buses and subway trains for rides, responsibly making all the stops of course. The justice system doesn’t really know what to do with him, other than lock him up for extended periods of time.
Darius is extremely affable and intelligent … he’s well-fed and neatly dressed when outside of prison … people want to help him, esp. the filmmaker, but in a way he can’t be helped and society has no way to deal with it.
